Bellini Theater and Piccolo Bellini, the 2017 / 2018 theater season under the banner of great dramaturgy
From Shakespeare to Dostoevskij, from Pirandello to Eduardo, from Boccaccio and Eco and many other great stage actors at the Bellini for the 2017 / 2018 season.
As announced during the spring, the Teatro Bellini and the Little Bellini will inaugurate the new theater season 2017 / 2018 from the next 3 October, with a rich program of shows that continue to confirm the predisposition of this unique and dual artistic reality to represent a real "Theater House".
The splendid theater located in the heart of the historical center of Naples, in fact, and its "small" experimental room dedicated to new dramaturgy, once again propose to stage performances of prose characterized from research and contamination between different languages of great authors, great directors and great interpreters.
The great dramaturgy of the past and present
Dramas belonging to the great Italian and foreign drama, such as minirassegna on Shakespeare that will transform the Bellini theater into the famous Globe Theater of the 16th century, as happened during the Naples Theater Festival, but also revisits of great works of the past that continue to echo in our present, like the Boccaccio's Decameron, Crime and Punishment of Dostoevsky, The name of the rose of Umberto Eco it's still, Strindberg, Eduardo De Filippo and Pirandello.
There will be no lack of it new drama, with shows that will combine prose with other forms of artistic languages, such as music and dance and the representation of two important international performances that will surely attract the interest of the public: the return of the German theater group Familie Flöz, known for their particular scenic language that is inspired by the theater of figure and mask, mixing dance, clowning, acrobatics, magic improvisation; a pièce of the undisputed Master of the world's contemporary theater Peter Brook.
16 are the theatrical projects that will take the stage of the Bellini Theater, while 19 will animate the Piccolo Bellini room. The review will be joined to them Glob (e) at Shakespeare, History lessons, the appointments with the Tango , symphonic music, BeQuiet and the presentations of books, which will once again make the Theater House, a unique place to live, full of artistic facets that contaminate each other.
But let's see in detail the performances scheduled in both the theatrical panels of these two important theatrical realities of our Naples.
