The next season of the Bellini Theater in Naples will be presented at the press conference, which will begin in October with Eduardo De Filippo's “The great magic”.

The Bellini Theater of Naples completes this year 25 years of business, and presented yesterday morning at his press conference new range of shows for the 2013 / 2014 season.

A rich and varied program, which meets, as every year, heterogeneous tastes and an audience that belongs to different generations. The Teatro Bellini, in recent years, it has increasingly become a meeting place, offering its viewers selected works and texts or produced “in house” characterized by quality and contemporaneity, reaching important goals and successes.

Before presenting the 16 titles of the new season the director of the building Gabriele Russo wanted to highlight those who represent the two flagships of the Bellini Theater: the Academy and Little Bellini.

The great magic Teatro Bellini

THEBellini Academy of Dramatic Art it is, in fact, the only free one in Italy, founded in 1990 by Tato Russo. A place of theatrical training of the actors that gives a particular prestige to the city of Naples that welcomes it. Registrations are open for the next three years of studies with the auditions starting next October 2013.

Il Little Bellini it is a “reduced” room that for some years has had its own season of shows, favoring the experimentation of unpublished and emerging texts and also hosting live music. The project of the Bellini Theater is, in the future, to create a sort of network of small theaters, as stated at the press conference by the director Gabriele Russo. This year, at the Piccolo Bellini, two special events will be held: a show by Pippo Delbono and one by Fausto Paravidino.

An interesting novelty this year concerns the price range, significantly lowered compared to last year, with the aim of bringing anyone closer to the theater, with a special day, the Tuesday show, with tickets starting from 9 euros.

The 2013 / 2014 season of the Bellini Theater will be inaugurated with the show The great magic by Eduardo de Filippo, a tribute to the thirty years since the death of the great Neapolitan playwright. There are many shows expected this year, including Don Giovanni by Filippo Timi, i Mummenschanz, the latest production by Bellini Remember with Rabies; two big news, Siberian Education e Clockwork Orange; two returns, Autonomous Dignity of Prostitution e Slava's Snowshow.
