The complete program of the 2016 / 2017 season of the Teatro Stabile di Napoli (Mercadante Theater, San Ferdinando Theater and Sala Ridotto)

In less than a month it will officially begin theatrical season 2016 / 2017 with many new shows on the certellone offered by the theaters of Naples. Also the Stable Theater of Naples, which comprises Teatro Mercadante, San Ferdinando Theater , Reduced Room, is preparing to open the curtain to propose its second season as a "national theater", a title that was awarded to the famous theatrical institution just last year by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage together with other renowned Italian theaters.

21 are the shows proposed by the billboards of Stable Theater of Naples, for what has been announced a season of author that will include classic and contemporary titles, but also dance and music, belonging to the Italian and international scene.

The 2016/2017 season of the famous Piazza Municipio theater will be inaugurated at the Teatro San Ferdinando the 19 October 2016 with the national premiere of Liolà di Pirandello, staged by Arturo Cirillo, while the 26 October will be the Teatro Mercadante to open the curtain with the debut of Macbeth di William Shakespeare, in the translation by Gianni Garrera and directed by Luca De Fusco, starring Luca Lazzareschi and Gaia Aprea. The first of the three shows proposed on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death.

The season will continue until May between classical and contemporary works all of great importance, including performances by Eduardo De Filippo, Annibale Ruccello, Andrea Camilleri, Shakespeare, Pirandello and many other celerbi authors of the national and international scene.
