The Minister of Health Roberto Speranza has made it known that there are news concerning the anti-Covid vaccination campaign 19. In fact, starting from 2021 December 15 about XNUMX million Italians will be able to receive the third dose of the drug.
Who can receive the third dose
Currently, the third dose of the vaccine can be administered to people over 80, to guests and staff of assisted and healthcare residences, as well as to immunocompromised which one is intended for additional dose after at least 28 days from the last. Then later the circular was also enlarged to over 60, to hyperfragile subjects and to all subjects vaccinated for at least 6 months with a single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Starting from 1 December 2021, to receive the third dose, they will also be subjects with an age included between 40 and 60 years for which six months have elapsed from the administration of the second dose of the drug. The vaccine that will be used will be that a mRNA, or Pfizer and Moderna.
It is still not clear how to book, each region will organize itself independently and obviously the duration of the Green Pass will be changed based on the vaccine recall.
