At Palazzo Caracciolo the Bourbon Naples will come back to life thanks to a special three-dimensional journey!
From 10 September 2015, Palazzo Caracciolo of San Teodoro a Chiaia will become the protagonist of an extraordinary one virtual guided tour, which will catapult visitors to Naples of the '700.
The initiative, by AppTripper and Giovanni Lombardi, will allow participants to visit, through one special three-dimensional path, the beauties of the Naples of the past, the one that over the years has inspired philosophers, painters and poets.
Specifically, the visit will be made possible thanks to the help of particular 3D glasses, Samsung's oculus Gear Vr, which will allow you to admire the paintings, furnishings and frescoes in the building in a different way, giving life to an unprecedented virtual reality journey within the Neapolitan city during the reign of Charles III of Bourbon.
An unmissable opportunity to know and preserve the wonders of Palazzo Caracciolo and to "rejuvenate art" through the synergy between history, culture, entertainment and technology, a way to attract more and more tourists and especially young people "to whom the dusty art of museums does not always go very well" as explained by Giovanni Lombardi.
