The Tuff Greek Festival 2017 celebrates the PDO name of Irpino wine between visits to the winery, shows, tastings and tours!
The Municipality of Tufo, in the province of Avellino, comes alive from the 7 to the 10 September 2017 with an unmissable enogastronomic event, the Tufo Greco Festival. The 33esima edition celebrates the Greek name of Tufo DOP, further guarantee of the quality of the wine.
During the four days of the festival there are many activities scheduled, which will mark every moment of the day. In addition to the inevitable tastings, you can visit the cellars for free and participate in workshops, wine trekking and theater tours in the historical center.
Experts in the wine sector will contribute to the enhancement of Irpinia excellence e numerous companies in the area. These include the Cantine dell'Angelo, Cantine Di Marzo, Colline del Sole, Tenuta Russo Bruno, Torricino and the Sanpaolo company.
They will not fail popular music and shows in the sign of tradition. On the stage will rise folk groups of the Campania as the Sancto Ianne, the Stornellatori, the Baccanali's, the Voices of the South, while they will perform in itinerant performances the theater company Clan H and the One Man Band.

Due to bad weather the last evening of the festival, that of Saturday 10 September 2017 was postponed to Saturday 16 September 2017. Only the activities prior to the opening of the food stands remain scheduled for 10 September.
