Officially part A (long) sea of books, with many meetings and events. The first appointment on the Liberation weekend
Compared to what was originally planned for the event A (long) sea of books in Naples, which should have started on April 19, the official appointment for the start of the event is for the days And April 25 26 2015 inside the Villa Comunale, in the area in front of the Casina Pompeiana, coinciding with the beginning of May of the Monuments.
The fair will start on the day of Liberation and, for the first of the appointments, will last two days with numerous meetings, presentations and musical performances.
The village: the weekends
The news, now more certain, on "A (long) sea of books" predict that the event will take place for four weekends in four months, so one weekend a month. Each weekend will be characterized by a specific theme and fourteen stands will be set up entrusted to booksellers and publishers from Campania. Public readings, musical performances, book presentations, workshops for children and many spaces dedicated to publishing for children will be organized.
The theme of the first weekend will be that of the Liberation from fascism and mafias.
Liberation Program
Saturday April 25th
The “Spazi di Libertà” stands of the ANPI with the Campanian Institute for the History of the Resistance and the “Annalisa Durante” Library will open the Village.
10.30 hours: inauguration and cutting of the ribbon with Valeria Parrella.
In Spazio Ragazzi: a rap for legality by "iocisto".
11.00 hours: in Casina Pompeiana: presentation of Paolo Miggiano's book "Le Ali spezzate, Annalisa Durante, die in Forcella at 14 years".
Speakers with the author: Arnaldo Capezzuto, journalist, Giuliana Covella, journalist, Nino Daniele, councilor for culture of the Municipality of Naples, Pino Perna, Annalisa Durante Association, Luigi de Magistris, Mayor of Naples

12.00 hours: Liberation Concert by Emidio Ausiello.
17.00 hours: Under the gazebo, Peaceful and public reading of the works of Erri De Luca.

10.30 hours: presentation of Raffaele Sardo's book "Don Peppino Diana".
