Universe of Butterflies at the Botanical Garden of Naples: an exhibition with specimens from all over the world

The Universo delle Farfalle exhibition arrives at the Botanical Garden of Naples, an opportunity to discover unique species!

Adults and children alike will be enchanted by the flight of these colourful and fascinating insects, which from 6 to 22 May 2016 will be the protagonists of an exhibition at the Botanical Garden of Naples, the “Universe of Butterflies”.

The event, open to all, will be held in a pavilion displaying live and dried caterpillars, chrysalises, and butterflies of many different species. Visitors will be able to admire enchanting specimens from Africa, Australia, and South America.

Art workshops are planned for children, where they can play with paint and paint plaster butterflies to take home. Guides will lead visitors through the discovery of butterflies and their life cycle, explaining the different stages.

Tickets can be purchased online, at participating ticket offices, or on-site. Please note that on May 6, 7, and 8, the exhibition and the Botanical Garden will be open until 8:00 PM.
