In fact, the priority, will aim to vaccinate citizens aged between 12 and 18 starting from August 16, 2021, even without a reservation. For the latter, the authorized vaccines are Pfizer and Moderna.

Anti-Covid vaccines: Figliuolo's decision

General Figliuolo has decided to speed up the administration of the first dose of the anti-Covid vaccine 19 to Italian citizens aged between 12 and 18 years old, even without a reservation, thus putting the vaccination of over 50s in the background, at least for the moment.

The initial plan was to immunize about 80% of the population Italian by the end of September 2021, a number that must be reached. As we know, until the middle of last month the main objective was to vaccinate the 60-year-olds, however the hoped-for results were not achieved, hence Figliuolo's decision.

Facilitate vaccination of teens, therefore without having to make a reservation and wait for the convocation email to be received, it is certainly a choice designed in view of thebeginning of school and for the resumption of all sports activities.
