Villa Comunale in music: in Naples 300 guys in a big free concert

In the Villa Comunale of Naples 300 young people will perform in free concert with the project "Sing, Play and Walk"!

Il 28 May 2016 the musical project “Canta, Suona e Cammina” will be crowned by a great free concert of Villa Comunale of Naples, in which 7 bands will perform. As many as 300 boys between 8 and 15 years old will play, sing and march.

Supported by the Campania Region and the Archiepiscopal Curia of Naples, the initiative is in its second year and will continue in 2017, with the organization of Scabec and the Fare Chiesa e Città Foundation. The goal is to make the music a growth tool cultural and social for children and adolescents in difficult areas of the city.

The little artists, directed by Maestro Ottieri, will perform in the area next to the Casina Pompeiana and at Anton Dohrn Station. The event will be attended by Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe and the president of Scabec Patrizia Boldoni.

Among the participating bands there are those of the parish of Santa Caterina in Formiello at Porta Capuana, Santa Maria della Misericordia di Capodimonte, Mary Most Holy of the Good Remedy of Scampia. The concert will also host the youth group of the Symphony Orchestra of the Spanish Quarters.
