Discovering the enchanting Fontanelle Cemetery in Naples with a series of guided tours for the May of the Monuments!

A spiritual, transcendent and even esoteric relationship that has always characterized our history.
In the Cemetery you will find thousands of bones and skulls belonging to victims of famine, pestilence and revolts, all piled up by salmatari. One of the peculiarities of the place is the rite of the "pezzentelle souls" which took place inside: those who wished to obtain spiritual protection, adopted and fixed a skull (called capuzzella) to which generally corresponded an abandoned soul, called pezzentella.
