The "Treasure of Naples" accompanied by a delicious tasting will be the protagonists of a beautiful evening guided itinerary

Il 17 April 2015, the exhibition "The Treasure of Naples" on display at the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro, will be the protagonist of an extraordinary guided evening tour with tasting.

Visitors can admire the prestigious jewels, on permanent exhibition since last 2 April, donated to the Patron Saint of Naples and belonging to one of the most extraordinary and unique collections in the world, whose value is invaluable.

The pride of the exhibition is the Gemmed miter, the famous episcopal headdress studded with 3694 precious stones. Visitors will also be able to admire exceptional jewelery and cult objects studded with diamonds, sapphires, rubies such as, just to name a few, the prestigious cup in gold and precious stones, the cross of emeralds, the pyx gemmata and the necklace of the treasure.

An extraordinary piece, the latter, made in about 250 years, the result of various donations, which took place over time, by the kings of all Europe. The interesting itinerary will be further enhanced by delicious tastings based on Campania products doc, made available to the public by Lello Mazza, owner of the shop "A'muzzarella mia parla".

The visit will therefore celebrate the true treasures of Naples: the immense heritage dedicated to San Gennaro, unique in the world, and the equally precious and inimitable Neapolitan cuisine.
