Guided night tours in the magical atmosphere of the Solfatara with geothermal cuisine and tastings!
Starting from 20 February 2016, will be again organized, every Saturday, of suggestive evening guided tours to the volcano Solfatara in Pozzuoli, in the Campi Flegrei.
The excursion at nightfall will be able to create aMagical atmosphere and the surrounding silence will make us listen to the voice of the volcano that will tell us its ancient history, imbastita also of myths and legends that have contributed to increase its charm.
The guide will explain us toscientific aspects of the activity of the Solfatara that despite its state of quiescence continues to emit from the so-called fumaroles, jets of mud and gas with the characteristic smell of sulfur. Moreover, it will show us the most interesting places such as the Fangaia, the Ancient Stoves and well of mineral water, once a precious source of medicinal waters.
The evening will end with tastings of geothermal cuisine in which they will be cooked anchovies, local fish products and fish in the nearby Gulf of Pozzuoli, which will be cooked in the steam of a fumarole of the Volcano at 160 °.
