Volotea, the Spanish low cost airline, he chose Naples this year for its great summer offers and theCapodichino Airport it will be his real one headquarters.

We are preparing for summer and there are many people who are already starting to think about holiday destinations, starting to book the routes of their interest. Volotea is investing more and more in our country, especially in southern Italy, therefore also a Napoli, and in the islands.

The purpose is to support the economy of the regional territory offering an ever wider range of proposals to tourists who want to visit not only Naples, but also other pleasant and incredible places in the Campania Region.

The launch of 2 new connections from Naples, together with the many reboots of destinations already offered, to confirm the company's commitment to offer an ever-wider range of destinations.

The many connections from Naples

From our airport, that of Capodichino, Volotea will guarantee connections with 20 destinations of which 9 are national and 11 European.

In addition, 2 new connections were also inaugurated from Naples, namely:

  • one for Aalborg, in Denmark, inaugurated on May 3 with a frequency of one flight a week. A comfortable and direct flight to discover one of the most fascinating countries in Northern Europe;
  • one for Pantelleria, the famous and beautiful island in Sicily, in the province of Pantelleria, which will be inaugurated on May 28th with one flight a week. An island immersed in the wilderness and surrounded by cobalt blue waters.

As we have said, in total there are 20 Volotea routes to and from Naples. Those in Italy are:

  • Cagliari
  • Catania
  • GenoVa
  • Lampedusa
  • Olbia
  • Palermo
  • Pantelleria (already mentioned draws the new ones

  • Venezia

The large Volotea fleet

The Volotea planes that will operate from Naples will be 41, up from 2019 when there were 36 as others arrived Airbus A320 in these three years.

Investment in sustainability

Volotea is also very attentive to the sustainability of its aircraft and in fact for 10 years, i.e. since 2012, it has carried out over 50 actions in this sense, significantly reducing carbon emissions per passenger. A reduction that exceeded 41%.

This year they will also be introduced sustainable fuels and will collaborate with the manufacturing and industrial sectors to ensure that these fuels can be developed and distributed on a large scale in the shortest possible time
