At Città della Scienza in Naples, from 8 December 2022 to 26 February 2023, you can visit the special exhibition Bonelli Story – Looking at Procida. A sea of ​​comic stories. It is an anthological exhibition dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Sergio Bonelli Editore and organized by Sergio Bonelli Editore, Gianni Bono and COMICON, in collaboration with the Campania Region and Città della Scienza.

More than 300 works on display will catapult you into a fascinating journey through the history of the publisher, among Tex, Dyland Dog, Zagor, Dragonero. There will also be a section created exclusively for the stage in Naples and dedicated to the de Commissioner Ricciardi in Fumetti by Maurizio De Giovanni and entitled Looking at Procida, to pay homage to the island capital of Culture.

Many activities for students are also planned and will be published soon.

Guided tours

Starting from the 10 January you can book specials guided tours at the Exhibition, for groups of at least 10 paying people. The duration will be 1 hours. Here is the basic info:

  • the cost is 2 euros per person to be added to the ticket price;
  • la booking it must be done at info@comicon.it. In case of individual reservations and groups of less than 10 people, the reservation is accepted with reserve and will be confirmed only if the minimum number is reached in that time slot.

  • only on weekends also at 16:00

Who is Sergio Bonelli?

Sergio Bonelli was born in Milan on December 2, 1932, son of Giovanni Bonelli and Tea Bonelli. From an early age he approaches the world of comics, subsequently entering to work in the family business. As a publisher he publishes several series such as the series One man one adventure, and has given birth to very special characters, such as Ken Parker, Dylan Dog and many others.

He also embarked on the path of screenwriting under the pseudonym of Guido Nolitta, with the series A boy in the Wild West published in 1958, and Judge Bean which was published in 1963 in the series Gli Albi del Cowboy.
