Rediscovering an ancient village in Cilento, between history and traditions

Starting from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th August 2023 will host the fourth edition of the event "Discovering an ancient village – Hermits“. It is an event that was created with the intention of making everyone aware of the wonderful through a series of interesting initiatives village of Hermits, a fraction of Futani, in the province of Salerno.

They will be three special days, with a program full of appointments between cultural walks, craft markets, food and wine stands with some typical Cilento products and much more. Traveling music and a photographic exhibition are also scheduled.

The walk through the streets of the Borgo

Saturday 5 August at 19:00 there will be a special walk through the streets of the small Borgo di Eremiti which will allow guests to discover the beauty and history of this place. We will start from Carcara up to Acquavona.

During the walk we will pass through the Church of St. Nicholas, the patron saint, the life of the sailor Francesco Chirico will be told, and the dishes will be presented by the food stands.

The appointment will be at 19:00 at the entrance of the village. Participation is free.
