The first of the three ready-to-arch sections of the Naples-Cancello section was installed by the Webuild company in the municipality of Acerra. It is a viaduct giant extending over 80 meters long e 13 wide for a height in key of the arch of approx 21 meters.

The Coronavirus health emergency does not slow down the work for the Naples-Bari high-speed railway line and in fact the first viaduct, of the three planned, was installed ad Acerra.

This structure has a weight of over 2500 tons, first it was built on the ground and later, with 18 special trolleys was moved, then with the help of specific towers it was raised to approx 6 meters high and then, finally, be positioned on the route.

It is a special project this of high speed and will allow travelers to reach Bari starting from Napoli, and viceversa, in less than 2 hours.

In particular, the first is Naples-Gate, right where the first of the viaducts has been positioned, will make it possible to connect the high-speed station of Naples-Afragola over a distance of 15,5 km to Casoria, Casalnuovo, Afragola, Caivano and Acerra.

As for the second section of the line under construction, Apex-Hirpinia, it will have a length of over 18 km, the construction of the Hirpinia station and the crossing of the Apennines are planned.
