The renowned Casina Vanvitelliana of Bacoli, located in the province of Naples, is preparing to host the exceptional art exhibition PopWorld. Paying homage to the incomparable Andy Warhol and other pioneers of pop art, this distinguished exhibition will open from 9 June 2023 until 31 July.
The world of Pop World and its works in Bacoli
PopWorld, an exhibition celebrating masterpieces of pop art, officially begins on 9 June at the 19: 30 at the Casina Vanvitelliana. This place of rare beauty, designed by Luigi Vanvitelli, offers an environment of incomparable atmosphere to exhibit the 45 works selected, mostly attributed to genius Andy Warhol, and kindly lent by Cris Contini Contemporary Gallery in London.
Among these works you will find such masterpieces as the portrait of Marylin Monroe, along with Mao's depiction and the famous Campbell's Soup Can illustrations. In addition to Warhol, the works of established artists such as Roy Lichtenstein e Robert Indiana.
Also a tribute to Fashion and Music
The Pop World event is not limited to just one visual art. On the contrary, it offers a rich program of collateral events. At 18:30 on the opening day, a fashion show orchestrated by the expert fashion design teachers of theAcademy of Fine Arts of Naples, Franca Corrado, Natascia Rezzuti and Mariangela Salvati, under the guidance of Cinzia Mirabella. Spectators will be able to appreciate the creations signed by the renowned designer Regina Schreckerwho will be present at the event. To complete the artistic experience, a musical tribute to the unforgettable singer will be paid Tina Turner, recently passed away.
