This year we celebrate the 700 years since death of the great poet Dante Alighieri, which took place on 14 September 1321, and many cultural places have organized a series of initiatives to remember the famous author of Divine Comedy.
And so, also the National Railway Museum of Pietrarsa, in collaboration with the State High School "Quinto Orazio Flacco" of Portici, on 22, 23 and 31 October 2021 offers guests many events such as cultural initiatives, artistic performances, shows and guided tours.

22 October
- At 10:00 and 12:00 at the Steam Locomotive Pavilion, two theatrical performances “In the middle of” directed by G. Nocera and D. Ingenito.
23 October
- 16:00 at the Cinema Hall the screening of the docufilm "The sky over the Kiberg" and "Ulisse XXVI" by Marco Martinelli and Ermanna Montanari.
- 18 pm at the Steam Locomotive Pavilion the theatrical performance "In the middle of" directed by G. Nocera and D. Ingenito.
31 October
- 10:30 am and 11:30 am at the Sala dei Macchine d'officina two theatrical performances "The means of the walk. Dante and the South" directed by D. Orsini.
- 12:30 at the Sala dei Cinquecento closing event "E io ch'al fine di tutt'i desii" - Dante and desire.

Pietrarsa Museum opening hours:
- Friday: 09:00 to 16:30
- Saturday and Sunday: from 9:30 to 19:30
Price
- 3 euros each for groups of students during the morning shows, during school hours
- 5 euro adults and children, aged 6 to 17, including those booked on the guest list of the Flacco institute, both in the morning and in the afternoon.
For those who are not on the list but want to participate in the initiatives, they must purchase the ordinary ticket of the Museum:
- Full entry only 7 euros, reduced 5 euros
- Full guided tours 9 euros, reduced 7 euros
