At the National Library of Naples you grow up between stories and books: open the new free reading point dedicated to children!

Good news for young Neapolitans: the 22 November 2017, in the National Library of Naples, was inaugurated on new reading point for children “Born to Read”, a national program to promote reading at an early age.

Appointments, free admission and dedicated to children from 0 to 6 years, will be held from November every Wednesday and every second Saturday of the month, with different times according to the age range of the young guests. The opening of the garrison takes place concurrently with the National Week of Born to Read, which throughout Italy supports the right to stories for children and girls.

Il Reading Point Born for Reading di Napoli is the first experience born in the national territory. As the director of the Francesco Mercurio Library points out, such a reality is even more important in an area like that bell, where education does not always come first.

Every little citizen will thus have the chance to grow among the books, cultivating culture and sociability to enter the world like a better individual.
