Traffic block in Naples from 6 October 2021 to 31 March 2022
Here comes a new one block of traffic in Naples, to fight pollution and reduce the amount of PM in the air and it will go from Wednesday 6 October 2021 until 31 March 2022.
What the traffic device predicts
- to 6 October 2021 and until further notice, from Monday to Friday and from 8:30 to 18:30, the circulation of cars and commercial vehicles Euro 0 and Euro 1 is prohibited, including those classified as "vintage cars" and / or "historic";
- from 6 October to 31 March 2022, from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 18:30, the circulation of the following categories is prohibited:
- exclusively diesel-powered cars and exclusively diesel-powered commercial vehicles of categories N1, N2 and N3 lower than or equal to Euro 4;
- motor vehicles and mopeds of a category lower than or equal to Euro 2.

The exceptions to the traffic block
The block is not valid in the following cases:
- on the motorway and in the sections which fall within the territory of the municipality of Naples: ring road of Naples, connection A1 Naples-Rome and A3 Naples-Salerno, regional road ex SS n. 162, link road Fulco di Calabria;
- nin the days festive and pre-holidays;
- for the motor vehicles they transport disabled with regular card;
- for service vehicles the Police, the local police autonomous service of the Municipality of Naples, the Civil Protection, the military, the administration of Justice with regular permit;
- for vehicles of public bodies, companies and companies providing public services, those in emergency call or used to transport material and / or personnel to carry out urgent and public utility works and works;
- for cars, motorcycles and mopeds with a doctor on a home visit for emergency calls
- for vehicles carrying operators of the journalistic information sector and radio and television and professional photographers;
- for motor vehicles transporting people with serious illness who require systematic and periodic therapeutic treatments with health certification;
- for the motor vehicles, motor vehicles and mopeds they transport therapeutic or medicinal gases;
- for the cars and buses of the companies of public transport, taxis and tourist buses;
- for rental vehicles with a capacity of less than 3,5 tons, motor vehicles and mopeds for rent and cars of driving schools for exercises and driving exams with the wording "driving school";
- for vehicles registered to citizens residing in different regions from Campania carrying at least one non-resident citizen in Campania;
- for motor vehicles of less than 3,5 tons carrying capacity medicines and / or transport of medical material of urgent use and carrying valuables;
- for vehicles of service of career Consuls and of the honorary consuls with plaque / identification mark;
- for the vehicles of those domiciled in the municipality of Naples in areal estate unit that has been the subject, starting from the year 2016, of a energy efficiency intervention of the building and / or air conditioning systems (even if it is a unit inserted in a condominium for which interventions have been made on the common parts), by accessing the forms of incentives and contributions provided for by the legislation (building renovations - home bonus , energy requalification - eco-bonus, thermal account) as attested by these documents:
- if it is an intervention under the responsibility of ENEA (eco-bonus, home bonus, etc.), it can show the declaration / sworn statement / descriptive card of the interventions carried out with the Personal Identification Code (CPID) and the electronic receipt of the sending to ENEA;
- in the event of deductions of the "house bonus" for interventions made in the years 2016 and 2017, must produce a declaration drawn up pursuant to Presidential Decree 445/2000 accompanied by a copy of the documentation submitted to the Revenue Agency which indicates access to the facility ;
- if it is an intervention within the competence of the GSE (thermal account), the subject may exhibit a copy of the application uploaded on the portal designated by the GSE “il Portaltermico” and the letter of admission from the GSE.
