Brumalia 2023 in Casal Velino, ancient Roman celebrations, wine and good food

The village of Casal Velino (SA) is preparing to welcome the second edition of Brumalia, a highly prestigious food and wine event, from 24 to 26 November 2023. This festival, which draws on the roots of the ancient ones celebrations Romance, celebrates the deities Saturn, Ceres and Bacchus-Liber, symbols of the transition from autumn to winter.

Brumalia offers a unique cultural and culinary experience, embellished by the presence of quality Cilento wine and authentic popular music.

During the Brumalia, visitors have the opportunity to savor a variety of local dishes, which reflect the rich culinary tradition of the region. The menu includes regional specialties prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, skilfully paired with selected Cilento wines. Typical dishes of local cuisine, such as homemade pasta, meat roast and desserts traditional, will be served, offering an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Brumalia is much more than a food and wine event. It is an inclusive cultural celebration popular music shows, which liven up the evenings with traditional melodies and engaging rhythms. In addition to music, the event includes activities related to sustainability and respect for the environment. The Vivimo_Casalicchio Association, in collaboration with the Municipality, will plant 30 trees to neutralize the environmental impact of the event, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability and ecological responsibility.
