Brumalia 2023 in Casal Velino, ancient Roman celebrations, wine and good food

The town of Casal Velino (SA) is preparing to host the second edition of Brumalia , a highly prestigious food and wine event, from 24 to 26 November 2023. This festival, which draws on the roots of ancient Roman celebrations , celebrates the deities Saturn, Ceres and Bacchus-Liber, symbols of the passage from autumn to winter.

Brumalia offers a unique cultural and culinary experience , enhanced by the presence of quality Cilento wine and authentic folk music.

During Brumalia , visitors have the opportunity to savor a variety of local dishes, reflecting the region's rich culinary tradition. The menu includes regional specialties prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients, expertly paired with select Cilento wines . Typical local dishes, such as homemade pasta , roast meats , and traditional desserts , will be served, offering an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

Brumalia is much more than a food and wine event. It's a cultural celebration that includes folk music performances , livening up the evenings with traditional melodies and engaging rhythms. Beyond music, the event includes activities related to sustainability and respect for the environment. The Vivimo_Casalicchio Association, in collaboration with the Municipality, will plant 30 trees to neutralize the event's environmental impact, demonstrating its commitment to sustainability and ecological responsibility.
