The Federico II of Naples blows out 792 candles and celebrates with concerts, special visits, readings and many guests!
He brings his years really well Federico II of Naples: 5 June 2016 to be exact 792 will be the springs that make it one of the oldest universities in Europe.
The largest university in southern Italy has decided to celebrate this milestone with great celebrations, which will follow each other for a whole week, from 3 to 10 June 2016. They will be organized for the occasion concerts, theater show, free openings of Museums of Natural Sciences and Botanical Garden, readings.
In addition, award ceremonies for illustrious graduates and deserving students are scheduled. The events will be held in the spaces of the different historical sites of the university, while the final evening of Friday 10 June will fill with music and theater Piazza del Gesù.
Among the participants in the initiative there will be, among others, Peppe Barra, Maurizio De Giovanni, Francesco di Bella and Renzo Arbore.
Festival of University Radio (FRU)
The 3, 4 and 5 June 2016 will be held in the Complex of Saints Marcellinus and Festo the 2016 Festival of University Radio. The Festival is already at its tenth edition and will bring to Naples about 30 radio and 200 participants from universities throughout Italy.
Programmers, directors, dj e radio speakers they will meet in these three days of workshops, music and live broadcasts. Radio 2 will also be present at the opening of the festival with a broadcast dedicated to FRU 2016.
