Educational workshops, treasure hunts, interactive games, surprise prizes and the Bourbon Grand Ball for the 2018 Carnival at Museum of Pietrarsa!
Sunday 11 February 2018 will take place the Carnival in Pietrarsa, at Pietrarsa Railway Museum, in the area of Napoli Est.
A day full of fun and creativity, with the opportunity to participate in masked games, workshops, listen to interesting stories and win surprise prizes. In fact, the most original disguise will win a special prize. Furthermore, there will be two special visits both in the morning and in the afternoon.
Carnival program in Pietrarsa
Starting at 10.00
During the morning there will be the Hunting of the Pentolaccia, the visit The wig of King Lazzarone and the Carnival of the animals.
La "Hunt for the Pentolaccia" it is a game-visit, a masked treasure hunt that will end with the discovery of the pentolaccia rich in sweet surprises.
During the theatrical visit "La parrucca di Re Lazzarone" the children will help the king and his servant Salaccone to find the parroquin of the sovereign. An original way to discover the museum interactively with the king and his messy servant.
I "Carnival of animals" workshop is an engaging musical tale and a creative workshop dedicated to the construction of the masks of the protagonists of the story.
Starting at 16.00
The activities will be repeated The wig of King Lazzarone, Hunt for the pentolaccia and the Carnival of the animals.
17.30 and 19.00 hours
Finally, the "Great Bourbon Ball"With dancers dressed in nineteenth-century clothes that will take us to a promenade in the avenues of the Museum and, later, at the Hall of Steam Locomotives, where you will dance with the music of evocative opera arias.
