A real Grand Ball at court at the Royal Palace of Naples, for a Carnival between dances and banquets of the ancient Neapolitan nobility

Il Royal Palace of Naples opens its elegant and sumptuous frescoed rooms to accommodate all those who wish to take a trip back in time, and participate in a real Grand Ball at court on the occasion of Carnival in Naples 2014.

On the occasion of the Carnival in Naples, the stable theater for teens Le Nuvole and Progetto Museo, in collaboration with the Educational Service of the BAPSAE Superintendency of Naples and the Province, organized a Court dance, a guided tour with entertainment, music and banquet suitable for everyone, adults and children from the age of 3, and which blends art, history, archeology and theater into a unique experience.

His Majesty will be there to welcome the guests in the hall King Ferdinand I of Bourbon, also known as "King Naso", intent on devouring his baba and ready to escape for a tempting hunt in the woods. But he will hold back to welcome his guests of honor, inviting them to continue their journey through the halls of his residence.

The guests will then meet the queen Maria Carolina of Austria struggling with the toilet that, worried about the success of the grand ball, will give everyone a dance lesson. When he finds out that his wife tries to sneak away he will call him back to his duties, forcing him to participate in the dance with the guests.

"We will offer our little guests an unusual immersion in court life: in the frescoed rooms enriched with sumptuous furnishings, everything is ready for the Grand Ball with the notes of the minuet ... how could you miss it ?!"

A unique evening to feel, even just for one night, kings and queens of the Grand Ball at court at the Royal Palace, together with the Neapolitan nobility of the nineteenth century. On the occasion of the Carnival, children can participate in masks.
