The Circumvesuviana now has one station also in Casoria, as communicated by EAV. This is the “Casoria Arpino - Volla” station. In reality, there is no mention of a new station born in the municipality of Casoria, but of the one already existing in Volla.

This station it is part of the Naples - Nola - Baiano line and this was possible thanks to the synergistic work between the Campania Region, EAV with its president Umberto De Gregorio and the Councilor with responsibility for Public Works, Luca Brancaccio.

Therefore, the Volla station which is located in the municipal territory of Casoria has changed its name and it was called "Casoria Arpino - Volla". In short, in this way we wanted to recognize the inhabitants of Casoria that the station belongs to their own municipality.

Councilor Brancaccio said he was very happy with this goal:

I would like to thank the technical offices of the Campania Region for their hard work and President De Gregorio for the necessary technical / administrative support for supporting me in giving due recognition to the Casorian community.
