For the first time in the history of You've Got Mail, a person sent an envelope twice in the same edition. Here's why and what the recipient's reaction was.
It had never happened before a You've Got Mail: a woman, Assumption, during the same edition of the program, he called the postmen twice to talk to the daughter, Emanuela.
The woman, according to what was revealed by the broadcast, would have abandoned her daughter when she was still small, but then, several years later, she would have tried to recover the relationship with her.
The first time, a few weeks ago, the daughter decided to close the envelope without a second thought, saying that he no longer wanted to know about his mother.

Assumption however he does not give up and, shortly after, he decided to contact again You've Got Mail. And Maria DeFilippi, for the first time in the entire history of the program, has decided to make an exception and to give both a second chance.
This time the meeting went a little better. Emanuela, albeit with a decidedly cold demeanor, he agreed to meet his mother for coffee.
