The Italian cinematic summer, characterized by an influx record of viewers, shows no signs of slowing down. Coming in September is the highly anticipated event “Party cinema”, an initiative promoted with the endorsement of MiCs and the renowned Academy of Italian Cinema – David di Donatello. An event not to be missed for all lovers of the big screen.

What does the Cinema in Festa offer include?

Launched for the first time in 2022, the “Party cinema” has already attracted over 2,3 million cinephiles, with plans to expand until 2026. During the event, which comes to life twice a year – once in June and once in September – viewers can enjoy a selection of films just €3,50 per ticket. The next edition will see light from17 to 21 September 2023, offering a series of new releases not to be missed.

The films in programming

The cinematographic panorama of this edition will be rich and varied, guaranteeing films for all tastes. From the giants of 2023 such as Barbie and Oppenheimer, to the fresh Italian and international novelties, the program promises to satisfy every type of audience. Furthermore, the film Gran Turismo – The Story of an Impossible Dream, with Orlando Bloom at the forefront, it is ready to conquer fans of the genre.

What are the unmissable titles?

Among the titles that promise to stand out during the event, we find films such as “The Mercenaries – Expendables”, which represents the fourth chapter of a saga celebrating the action films of the 80s and 90s. But not only, "Doggy Style – Those Good Strays”, a light and funny comedy, is ready to raise smiles with its biting humor. Finally, there will be no shortage of more reflective works such as “Murder in Venice” of the director and actor Kenneth Branagh and “Felicità”, the debut of Micaela Ramazzotti which has already been successful at the Lido.
