Circumflegrea, stop between Pianura and Quarto due to infiltrations
The railway line Circumflegrea is facing a emergency situation due to water infiltration into the tunnel Astroni. An unexpected event that caused interruption of service on a specific section of the line, i.e. between Pianura and Quarto.
The interrupted section
The outage affected a vital segment of the Circumflegrea line, specifically the stretch that goes from Plain in Quarto. This implies that Travel is currently not possible directly on this part of the line.
However, the service remains up and running in the other sections with trains continuing to operate normally between Montesanto and Pianura, is between Quarto and Licola.
Replacement bus service
