The EAV, or the Autonomous Entity Volturno, the company that manages public transport by road and rail in Campania, has announced the publication of a notice in which the opening of applications for train drivers and train conductors for the Circumvesuviana. The company is therefore looking for personnel.
In particular, there will be available in total 80 placesThese are:
- 40 places for Machinists, EAV Lines Railway Operation, Full Time and Permanent Employment Relationship
- 40 places for Capitreno - EAV Lines Railway Operation, Full Time and Permanent Employment Relationship
As indicated, it will be a permanent contract, in short, an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for work.
The requirements for the positions
In the announcement there is a series of indications to proceed with the application as well as the requisites required to apply. In particular:
Machinist Profile:
- High school diploma or Diploma of education and professional training referred to in Chapter III of Legislative Decree 17 October 2005, n. 226;
- Train Driving License issued in compliance with Legislative Decree 30 December 2010 n. 247;
- Certificate of successful training for the achievement of the complementary certificate compliant with the provisions of Legislative Decree 247/2010 issued by a railway company or a training center recognized by ANSFISA pursuant to the 07/2010 Guidelines; In the case of any provision of recognition or equivalence provided for by current legislation, also possess the knowledge of the Italian language at level B1.
Profile B Conductor:
- High school diploma or Diploma of education and professional training referred to in Chapter III of Legislative Decree 17 October 2005, n. 226;
- Qualification to accompany valid trains issued by a Railway Company having carried out the related accompanying activity over the last three years
- Certificate of successful training on the basic contents provided for the train accompanying safety activity issued, pursuant to RE 773/2019, by a Training Center recognized by ANSFISA pursuant to the 07/2010 Guidelines. In the case of any provision of recognition or equivalence provided for by current legislation, also possess the knowledge of the Italian language at level B2
How to apply for the competition
Applications can only be made via certified mail. The application form published on the official website of EAVIn section Selections and competitions, attaching your own in pdf form curriculum vitae. Certain documents will be required for the application, namely:
- Curriculum vitae
- Diploma
- A valid identification document
- Driving license of category B
- Qualification for accompanying trains issued by a Railway Company
- Certificate of successful training
You can apply until September 15, 2022.
The preselective and selective tests
Probably there will also be a preselective test, each candidate will be able to get information on the day, place and time by connecting to the official Eav website. The score you get at the preselective test it will be used only as access to the selective test and will not be added to the score of the latter to draw up the final ranking.
La selective test consists of an interview, for both profiles. The commission will have 100 points available. Candidates who have not obtained a score equal to or greater than 60/100 will be excluded.
