THEEAV has communicated that it will be the Circumvesuviana train service was enhanced as new trains will be added on holidays a starting from the weekend of May 28, 2022.
In total, therefore, there will be well 28 trains in service across the board, while at the moment there are 14, and among them there will be 4 Campania Express trains which carry out the service up to the excavations of Pompeii and Herculaneum, as well as Sorrento.

Also strengthen security and vigilance
At the same time, the security and surveillance services for travelers of the Circumvesuviana, in fact, employees will be included specialized in anti-snatch and anti-snatch. They will work in stations and on board the train from 9.00 to 21.00, especially in the following areas:
- on the Garibaldi-San Giovanni section;
- in the stations of Torre del Greco;

- Sorrento;
