Several sections of the Circumvesuviana closed for the cloudburst of the night of 23 September 2019. Expected replacement buses.

Il cloudburst of the night of 23 September 2019 ha blocked the circulation of many of the Circumvesuviana trains, causing inconvenience to travelers. Also there metro line 2 blocked the circulation due to flooding.
It was closed due to flooding San Giorgio bronze horses station, so the trains don't stop there, while there is a break on the Nola-Baiano line, in the section from Scisciano to Nola due to a fallen tree that has severed the electric wires. Trains departing from Naples end the run at Scisciano and trains departing from Baiano end the run at Nola.
Also the Vesuvio de Meis station is closed.
Furthermore, on the Sarno-Ottaviano line, the trains stop at Cercola due to a failure at a level crossing.
La treats Cercola-S. Anastasia is suspended and the trains departing from Naples finish the run at Cercola, while the trains leaving Sarno for Cercola end the run at S. Anastasia.
In Scafati station, closed during the early morning, circulation is resumed.
Replacement buses
On the broken sections there are the following replacement buses:
- on the Cercola - Sant'Anastasia route it starts from Sant'Anastasia for Cercola and returns to Sant'Anastasia
- on the Scisciano - Baiano route, the bus leaves from Nola towards Scisciano and returns to Baiano
