No Circumvesuviana trains for Easter 2017 afternoon, but there will be a bus for the Naples-Sorrento line.
Bad news for commuters traveling on the EAV trains of Circumvesuviana since the assembly that took place between the workers and the sole director Umberto De Gregorio did not bear the hoped-for results. Indeed, the company's employees have refused an agreement for the afternoon service of the Circumvesuviana on Easter, the 16 April, for which there will be no trains that Sunday.
Specifically, according to the post by De Gregorio on Facebook, the proposal provided for the extraordinary payment of 230 euro to start the trains in the afternoon session, but only towards the Naples-Sorrento section. The workers did not like this "discrimination", since, according to the response of the Orsa union, it would be right to guarantee afternoon trains for all routes. Hence the rejection.
On the other hand, there will be a shuttle substitute bus for connections between Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento.
