With Pomodoreide in Città della Scienza you will prepare the largest ragù in the world!

Pomodoreide is an event to be held in City of Science, a Napoli, 2 and the 3 December 2016. The event was organized to pay tribute to one of the most important products of our land that has made us famous all over the world tomato, and will end tastyly with the biggest ragout in the world.

Indeed, for the first time we will try to overcome the record del mondo preparing a sauce with 300 liters of sauce that will cook from morning to evening in a huge pot made for the occasion. This meeting will be possible thanks to the National Association of Canned and Vegetable Industry ANICAV and the Oltre il Giardino Association, CNR - IPCB with the patronage of the Municipality of Naples, the Campania Region and the Regional School Office.

The tomato will come studied from various points of view: scientific, literary, artistic, philosophical and culinary. The Research Centers with the CNR and the University will illustrate the results of the studies carried out in the agricultural and biological fields and young people from the hotel industry will experiment with new recipes at the table. It will also be the right occasion to remember two great Neapolitan artists: Eduardo and Luca De Filippo who with their theatrical comedies have made it possible to make the whole world aware of the importance of traditions, readings, videos and theatrical actions will be dedicated to them.

During the two days there will be one review on Food Design and the other on Design for Food where the new "containers" for the kitchen and food will be proposed. Search results for packaging will also be shown greens and biodegradable and those of Aluminum Recycling and there will also be quality laboratories related to the alternation path School-Work.
