2015 edition of the "Classic Contemporary" review, with performances taken from classic works and revisited in a modern key

To enrich more and more the cultural offer and events present in Naples during the summer, the interesting theatrical review Classic Contemporary, now in its second edition after last year's success.

Classic Contemporaneor brighten up the cool summer evenings from the 18 August and up to the 30 August 2015 starting from 21:30, inside the suggestive Cloister of San Domenico Maggiore, with shows that, as the title suggests, have the particularity of combining the theater of the great classical authors, of the past but also of the present, with original and unpublished contemporary directorial reinterpretations that will give, in this way, a further contribution to their immortality.

On the stage of the Cloister of San Domenico Maggiore, therefore, for two weeks, reinterpretations in a modern key of works by authors such as Aristophanes, Shakespeare, Moliere, Pirandello, Schmidt, Ibsen, Cechov, Petito, Viviani, Eduardo and many others will alternate.

The Classic Contemporary review is inserted within the kermesse of the Municipality of Naples Summer in Naples 2015 and is cured by Teatro dell'Osso and by the artistic directors Gianmarco Cesario and Mirko Di Martino.
