A bit of history and curiosity about Coma Cose

Their meeting

The story of Coma Cose, the duo made up of Fausto Lama and Francesca California, is known to Italian indie fans. The two artists met while working in the same shop in Porta Ticinese, Milan. In an interview, they told how their artistic collaboration came about.

Fausto Lama had signed a contract with a major record label, but the album he released didn't achieve the success he had hoped for. The girl, passionate about music, began an artistic collaboration that led to the birth of Coma Cose and the success they enjoy today.

The birth of their name

According to Francesca , the name Coma Cose is ironic about the artistic and life coma phase the two were going through. The word “ Cose ” was added simply because it sounded cool and because the name Coma wasn't available on Instagram.

The very special couple tattoo

Francesca and Fausto share a tattoo on their thigh , representing their eternal union , no matter what happens. The tattoo is a tribute to the film " Non ci resta che piangere ," a 1984 Italian comedy classic directed by and starring Massimo Troisi and Roberto Benigni.

The first song

The first song written and published together by the duo dates back to February 23, 2017 , when “ Cannibalismo ” appeared on YouTube , an intense and provocative song that offers food for thought on modern society.
