The ancient buildings of Naples become the scene of beautiful classical music concerts. Here is the program!
It is said that "the Epiphany all the holidays take away". Instead the holidays continue in Naples, thanks to a series of classical music concerts, organized at the churches and villas most famous and beautiful of the city.
The musical program, started last 6 January 2015, it will last for the whole week until Sunday 11 January 2015.
On the Epiphany day, the festival started at the Auditorium of the Duca di Martina Museum, with the fourth edition of the "Concerti in Villa Floridiana". Later, in the afternoon, on stage the "Organ concerts - 2014 Christmas in Naples" at the Sanctuary of S. Maria della Stella.
Protagonists too Piazza del Plebiscito with the "Concert of the Epiphany 2015", the Church of San Ferdinando with the Comtessa de Dia ensemble, the Church of S. Maria della Rotonda with the last appointment of "Music around the organ" and finally the Church of San Pietro a Majella with the performance of the Naples Vocal Ensemble.
The 7 January protagonist of the day in music was the Church of St. Joachim, theater of an evocative concert belonging to the program of events "Organ concerts-Christmas in Naples 2014".
So many emotions on the notes of classical music, will wait, then, the Neapolitans to continue the festive atmosphere and at the same time to return gently to everyday life. A gentle return, without stress, "sweet" like the melodies to listen to in the most beautiful places in the city.
