21 pianists will perform a free concert in the colonnade of Piazza Plebiscito for the Piano City Napoli 2018!

From 23 to 25 March 2018 returns the successful event Piano City Naples and the inauguration will take place on 23 March with an evocative Concert of 21 pianos who will perform at Piazza Plebiscito.

In a natural setting of beauty and art, the 21 pianos distributed under the hemicycle of arcade, positioned between the columns, they will play unique pieces by great classical music composers.

Their repertoire will include pieces revisited for the occasion, but without structural and communicative changes. Among them will be the Beethoven's Chiaro di Luna, Bach's virtuosic Toccata and Fugue in D minor, and Ravel, with the hypnotic Bolero.

Before the concert other compositions will be performed: le tarts of Shostakovich and Rachmaninov for two pianos, to be followed by the Waltz of flowers of Ciaikovski performed on four pianos and then, in a crescendo of multiple numbers, Libertango di Piazzolla for eight pianos, up to the expected number twenty-one, which will turn on the spotlight on the square.
