Information and details on the new public transport tickets introduced by Anm and the differences with the TIC travel tickets, Integrated Ticket Campania
As everyone now knows, from January 1 2015 the fare system of public transport tickets of ANM and Campania will change. The new tickets represent big news in local public transport, since they have been strategically designed for satisfy different user targets.
The new pricing policy, accompanied by a widespread information campaign from the title "ANM makes the ticket, do it too", was created to meet the needs of a varied clientele (from commuters who always travel only on a vehicle to tourists, from business users to annual subscribers) and with the aim of building loyalty and awareness of users and favoring a gradual reduction of evasion rates.
Two important news: the unlimited weekly pass, designed for tourists and for business customers who stay in the city for several days and use public transport several times to get around; the “Single ride” ticket for 1 euro, designed for a large percentage of passengers who take only one ANM public transport (subway, bus or funicular) and who will be able to obtain an evident economic advantage with a saving of 30 cents on the ticket price.
Main types of tickets
Urban single journey ticket | 1 euro
It is valid for a single ride and on only one of the ANM means (bus, trolleybus or tram, underground or funicular).
Single trip ticket in suburban area | 1,20 euros
Valid for only one run on the suburban services of ANM (only for buses and trolley buses).
Daily urban ticket | 3,50 euro
Valid until 24:00 on the day of validation, it allows the combined use of all ANM services (buses, trolleybuses, trams, subways and funiculars) within the urban area of the Municipality of Naples. Validation is mandatory on first use and on each ANM means of transport used
Urban weekly ticket | 12 euros
Valid until 24: 00 on the Sunday after the validation day. It allows the combined use of all the ANM services (buses, trolleybuses, trams, subways and funiculars) within the urban area of the Municipality of Naples. It is mandatory to validate it on the first use and on every ANM means of transport used. The subscription holder is obliged to indicate with pen: date of use, name and date of birth in the appropriate spaces and is required to show, upon request, a valid identification document.
Urban monthly pass | 35 euros
Valid until 24: 00 on the last day of the valid month. It allows the combined use of all the ANM services (buses, trolleybuses, trams, subways and funiculars) within the urban area of the Municipality of Naples. It is mandatory to validate it on the first use and on every ANM means of transport used. Also in this case, the owner is obliged to indicate with pen: date of use, name and date of birth in the appropriate spaces and to show, upon request, a valid identification document
Annual urban subscription
Available in electronic “smart card” format. Four types available:
- urban at the cost of 235,20 euro
- extra-urban NA1 at the cost of 262,50 euro
- extra-urban NA2 at the cost of 368,00 euro
- extra-urban AC1 at the cost of 210,00 euro.
Each subscription is valid for 12 consecutive calendar months starting from the first day of the validity month up to the 24.00 of the last day of the last month of validity. With this title, provided only at company level, the user can make an unlimited number of journeys using ANM vehicles.
Difference between Corporate Securities and ICT (Ticket Integrati Campania)
The novelty of this new tariff policy therefore concerns the introduction of new alternative tickets to tickets from the Unico Campania regional consortium which, remember, will be usable until 31 January 2015.
Company titles:
Each company will have its own tickets and subscriptions, usable on any means of that single company and which will be a convenient and advantageous alternative for users traveling with only one company.
ICT, Integrated Ticket Campania
They will replace the integrated UNICOCAMPANIA titles which will allow, as happened with UNICO, to use any means, even if belonging to different companies.
