The famous actor, Oscar Prize, Denzel Washington arrives in our city to shoot the third chapter film "The Equalizer". A special one will be activated for this occasion traffic device is will block access to some areas of Napoli and will suspend access to some means of transport. The off-limits area will be that of Piazza del Gesù where the two weeks of shooting will be held.
Denzel Washington has already visited many places in Campania, such as the Amalfi coast, Positano, Ravello and now surely will visit Naples.
The traffic device issued by the Municipality of Naples
Establishment of a particular temporary traffic device from 10/11/2022 to 25/11/2022 in piazza del Gesù, to allow the filming of the feature film “The Equalizer 3”. Establish in Piazza del Gesù, from 10/11/2022 to 25/11/2022: 1. the suspension of all reserved parking areas: parking of cars in public service (taxis), H stalls and areas for loading and unloading goods ; 2. the ban on transit of tourist buses.
Filming of “The Equalizer” in Naples
They will be held from Thursday 10 to Friday 25 November (included) and includes:
- The suspension of all reserved parking areas;
- Suspension of H stalls and cargo loading and unloading areas;
- Parking of public service cars such as taxis;
- No transit of tourist buses.
To sign the order is signed by the manager Giuseppe D'Alessio of the Municipality of Naples.
What is the movie The Equalizer about?
The first movie T was launched in 2014, to then make a sequel in 2015. Now comes the third chapter that will shoot in our city, already announced in 2018.
