The Dinosaurs in Meat and Bones is the exhibition of the Reserve of Astroni in Naples with 40 life-sized specimens!
UPDATE: on 30 September 2017 the Dinosaurs in Flesh and Bones exhibition reopens after the long period of summer closure due to the fires in the Astroni Reserve.

From March 4nd to November 5rd 2017 there will be an exhibition "Dinosaurs in Meat and Bones"Below Astroni Nature Reserve, A very important WWF oasis in Campania.
The prehistoric themed exhibition that has enchanted all of Italy finally arrives in our city, well 6 kilometers of path in nature with approximately 40 dinosaur specimens reconstructed down to the smallest detail. As Simone Maganuco, one of the curators of the exhibition explains, the purpose of this event is to bring people closer to science, to create a quality entertainment that is not just for children.
There will be, among the many specimens, the imposing T-Rex, il Diplodocus, Allosaurus, Ticinosuchus, Cynognathus, Megalonyx, Dracorex, Styracosaurus and Spinosaurus.
This impressive exhibition makes us reflect on the extraordinary event that was the extinction of the dinosaurs in the Mesozoic era, but above all this long path, temporal and physical, wants to stop on the evolutionary dynamics of the adaptation and extinction of dinosaurs which can be easily compared to the dynamic between man and nature, an increasingly difficult coexistence.
Night visits
The Astroni Reserve has also organized some special night-time guided tours to have fun among the dinosaurs in a more suggestive atmosphere. In our article you can find out all the dates and details of the Sauronotti visits.
Ask the Paleontologist
The 17 and 18 June there will be a paleontologist who will answer all the curiosities of adults and children to let them discover all the secrets of the Dinosaur and Prehistory world.
