Has been unveiled the trailer of the new film by Paolo Sorrentino which returns after many years in his Naples to tell one story set in the 80s and that shows us all the passions of an incredible city.

The film, entitled "It was the hand of God“, Will be presented at the Venice Film Festival in September and will also be released on the platform Netflix on December 15, 2021.

The title is a clear reference to the myth of Maradona, also nicknamed "La mano de Dios" as we all know by now, and the 80s are also the period in which there was great anticipation for thearrival of the Argentine phenomenon in Calcio Napoli, with the consequent joy due to his football exploits and league titles.

Fabietto in the Naples of the 80s

The protagonist of the film is Fabietto, a young boy with his desires and passions, who seeks his way to the future between jewelry, tragedy ed unexpected episodes. It is a film full of emotions and typically immersed in the 80s with the walkman and motorbike rides, but also with cinemas and swimming in the sea.

The boy has a great one want to tell something, probably also of himself, and from the trailer we can see this strong desire that seems unexpressed at the moment.
