Twist at the David di Donatello 2023: Elodie, during the evening, also takes home a David for the Best Song. The piece, entitled "Proiettili (Ti mangio il cuore)", triumphed over four others who were competing for the coveted title. Her first words after the win "I didn't expect it, usually I never win!"
Evening of emotions ai David by Donatello 2023, considered by many i Italian Oscar Awards: during the ceremony, which took place Wednesday May 10 2023, it was not only the favorites who won, but also real surprises.
One of them is Elodie, who together with four other authors (including Sergio Endrigo e diodate), had received a nomination for the David for Best Song. Nomination which then, surprisingly, turned into a victory, when Carlo Conti and Matilde Gioli announced that the David for Best Song had been awarded to Bullets (I'll eat your heart), piece written and performed by Elodie and with music made by Joan Thiele, Elisa Toffoli ed Emanuele Triglia.

For the young singer it was the first David di Donatello of his career and, after withdrawing it, he declared in a very emotional voice:
“I didn't expect it also because I never win. The important thing is to meet generous people and do things right.”
Elodie, besides creating and singing the soundtrack, she also made her acting debut in I eat your heart, a film released in 2022 and which saw the director Pippo Mezzapesa.
The story, set in a remote promontory of the Gargano, tells the love story between Andrea, reluctant heir of the Malatestas, e Marilena, the beautiful wife of the mafia boss of Camporeale. Their forbidden love, however, will reignite the feud between the two rival families.
