The Xnumx Ferragosto in Naples is enriched thanks to free guided tours to discover a beautiful work by Caravaggio
On the occasion of VI Edition of the Ferragosto with Caravaggio it will be possible to visit, at the Pio Monte della Misericordia, the masterpiece of Caravaggio de "The Seven Works of Mercy". The splendid works are illuminated with LED lights in order to fully exploit every detail and avoid any form of reflection on the canvases.
During the visit you can admire the church e la Picture Gallery with the art collection of the periods between the sixteenth and nineteenth centuries with works by Luca Giordano, Mattia Preti, Francesco De Mura and Andrea Vaccaro, among others.
In addition, you will deepen the history of the Pio Monte della Misericordia, which dedicates most of its activities to charity.
