At Castellabate fish tastings, workshops and flea markets at the 2017 Paranza Pescata Festival.
From the 2 4 2017 JuneIn town Lake of Castellabate will host the IX edition of the "Feast of the Fish of Paranza 2017", an event organized by the Punta Tresino association in collaboration with the Associations of the Territory of Castellabate, the parish community of Sant'Antonio, and the patronage of the Municipality of Castellabate. The event will be an opportunity for to introduce various recipes based on fish that are part of the Mediterranean Diet, appreciate the scents of the Cilento and the flavors of its agricultural products.
During the event, which will be held outdoors, you can taste different fish dishes, for example the famous ones sea pancakes, the wonderful frying of paranza (a small-cut fried fish fry) and exquisite Pasta And Beans With Mussels, dishes that will be accompanied by the excellent wines of local vines. A party, however, can not end without one of the sweets typical of the local culinary tradition.
There will also be moments of fun, live music, games for children, gastronomic markets and craft workshops.
