The Wine Festival in Castelvenere, a successful mix of entertainments and wine tastings!
From 26 to 28 August 2016 returns the Castelvenere Wine Festival which has reached its XXXVI edition. The local wineries will be the undisputed protagonists of the whole event that will host food and wine journalists, wine bloggers and wine tourists.
Wine producers will do know and taste both the most famous labels (such as the noble Falanghina and Aglianico), and those less known but still exceptional (such as Barbera, Coda di Volpe, Piedirosso and Agostinella).
During the party will be made of guided tastings, which will compare the Samnite labels with those of Denominations of Origin of the Boot that have some similarities. In the early evening the Sannio Barbera Dop will be compared with the Lacrima of Morra d'Alba Dop and the Ruché of Castagnole Monferrato Docg. In the second evening the Falanghina del Sannio Dop will compare with productions Vermentino Docg and Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Docg. In the third evening the Falanghina del Sannio Dop sparkling version will compare with two labels of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene.
During the Wine Festival certainly will not fail the area dedicated to gastronomy where you can enjoy pizza, i fried traditional and the products of the earth thanks to the companies belonging to the Campagna Amica of Coldiretti.
The Pro Loco of Castelvenere with the support of the City to make the party even more memorable has organized a program of entertainment for children and one musical.
