Feast of the Befana at the Capodimonte Museum with workshops for children, exhibitions and reopened rooms
The Capodimonte Museum in Naples organizes for Thursday 6 January 2022, day of the Epiphany, a particular Feast of the Befana.
In particular, the event is entitled The Lights of Buren and it will be a guided tour of the contemporary art section of the Museum which will be followed by a special workshop activity in which children aged 5 to 12 can take part.
But there will also be many other events that will last until the weekend, that is until January 9.
An experience between art and creativity: workshops for children
The little visitors who come to the Museum of Capodimonte on the day of the Befana they will be able to take part in a special trip that will be centered on art and creativity.
In fact, the appointment will be at the contemporary art section on the third floor of the Museum, a place where they will be able to observe the wonderful in situ work of the great artist Daniel Buren, and its traditional form of colored strips of 8,7 centimeters.
Subsequently, the children can try their hand at a laboratory and with mechanical colors and other materials they will be able to give free rein to their creativity. The activity is organized by the association Clouds in collaboration with Crank Stories.
Performance and piano concert
Thanks to the MusiCapodimonte association we will attend the concert of the Arcoscenico Company in the rooms of the Royal Apartment which are located on the first floor with artists who will perform with the accompaniment of M ° Rosario Ruggiero on the piano.
The Company will tell those present the secrets of the Royal Palace.

Visit to the Church of San Gennaro
In the Real Bosco you can visit the church which was renovated with a decoration by the architect Santiago Calatrava. Visits are planned Thursday 6, Friday 7 and Saturday 8 January from 10.00 to 16.00weather permitting.
The architect decorated the chapel with flowers and leaves from the Real Bosco di Capodimonte.

- the Capodimonte Armory, reopened after a long time and one of the most important in Europe;
- on the second floor the Gallery of the Arts in Naples from the '200 to the' 700, the scourging of Caravaggio, the contemporary art section which continues on the third floor with the Photo gallery by Mimmo Jodice;
- the Paolo La Motta exhibition. Capodimonte meets the Sanità on the third floor;
