The second edition of the Onion Festival that will take place from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 August 2023 in the new location of the Aiello-Campomanfoli Community Centre, a fraction of Castel San Giorgio in Salerno. The event is organized by AC Sport & Eventi.
Obviously, the center of the party will be there onion, this vegetable rich in vitamins and mineral salts which is used for therapeutic purposes thanks to its characteristic properties. The onion will be cooked using different recipes and as a condiment for different dishes, which will be worth tasting.
Among these there will be the delicious sandwich with sausage and caramelized onion, while among the desserts there will be the fruit tart of Donato Biasiucci, Baba of Past la Confectionery and the zeppola of Golden Frost.
The musical program
La Onion Festival which will take place in Campomanfoli will also be characterized by lots of fun and music. In fact, during the four evenings they will be expected several artists who with their skill and their music will entertain all guests arriving on site. In particular:
