In Frasso Telesino, in the province of Benevento, the Marchigiana Meat Festival with the flavors of the local tradition!
A Frasso Telesino, in the Benevento area, from Thursday 3 to Sunday 6 August 2017, returns the "Festival of PGI Marchigiana Meat", now in its seventh edition.
The delicious Marchigiana will be presented in all its forms, through a path of "Taste and Tradition" of the Samnites and Beneventan lands, in traditional menus combined with absolutely innovative dishes.
The event, promoted by Pro Loco Frasso, Under the patronage of City of Frasso Telesino, is organized by the masters of the meat Lorenzo and Vittorio Maddaloni, holders of the homonymous butchers. With about 800 seats, and an entire camper area, the Frasso Meat Festival is one of the most succulent summer events in Campania. Moreover, every evening in the Neapolitan tavern it will be possible to accompany good food to good live music.
Dishes of the Festival
A huge choice for visitors who will have the opportunity to taste the delicious and delicate meat of the Marche in many variations, to satisfy any palate: from mixed grill to "butcher's cut" with rocket and cherry tomatoes, passing through the sfogliatelle of minced meat and provolone and theveal salad with orange and fennel, in addition to the many different offers of sausages and hamburgers.
One of the great novelties 2017 is the Cultural Enogastronomical Itinerary promoted by the Pro Loco di Frasso, a tour through the alleys of the village, where the culinary tradition is combined with the cultural tradition of the small village of Benevento.
