International Festival of the 'Neapolitan Music 700 | Concerts Program

The program of the International Neapolitan Music Festival of the '700 includes numerous concerts on the Neapolitan Baroque, guided tours and tastings of local products

The International Festival of 700th-Century Neapolitan Music will be held in Naples in April. This musical event, curated by the Domenico Scarlatti Association, aims to honor the Baroque musical context of our region. The International Institute for the Study of 700th-Century Neapolitan Music has been researching, studying, and promoting 700th-century Neapolitan music for 25 years.

From 17 to 26 April , in fact, for the 12th edition of the event, various concerts will be organised and the locations will be different, from the Palatine Chapel of the Royal Palace to the Maschio Angioino, passing through the Sala del Toro Farnese at the Archaeological Museum and the Domus Ars in via S.Chiara.

Musical evenings will be associated with gods guided tours to visit these places and monuments of Naples and will also be offers of tastings of typical products of Campania, all strictly DOC, DOGC and IGP.
The Festival will also launch in some digression of different style, for example by making an excursus in the jazz style typical of contemporary and popular music, while some actors will read passages from books of travelers of the past.

All concerts will be free , subject to availability.
